The history of nox traces back to Munich-based transport entrepreneur Heinz Harry Kutzner. To differentiate himself from the competition, he offered his customers delivery before the start of the workday – the idea of NachtExpress was born. Since 1964, this business model has continuously evolved and experienced strong expansion. It was last operated by TNT Innight. In 2016, nox acquired the company, and in 2017, it acquired the German business of CAT Cargologistik.

Since 2022, nox is part of the Groupe Sterne. Founded in 1972, the company is one of the French market leaders in time-critical logistics services, specializing in customized services with high added value. Groupe Sterne offers regular night and day transports, logistics services, and time-critical deliveries. Together, we provide efficient transport solutions across Europe, ensuring smooth logistics for all goods.

Together, we form an international network with around 2,100 employees, 6,000 senders, and 100,000 recipients in Europe.
